RealEVRange provides estimates, not guarantees. All range figures are physics-based approximations. Actual real-world range depends on driving style, road conditions, cargo weight, HVAC usage, tire pressure, battery age, and dozens of other factors outside our model.
The data on this site — including range estimates, battery degradation projections, and transparency scores — is intended for informational and research purposes only. It does not constitute professional automotive, financial, or purchasing advice.
RealEVRange is an independent service with no affiliation to any vehicle manufacturer, dealer network, or automotive brand. We receive no manufacturer sponsorship, advertising revenue from car brands, or compensation that could influence our estimates.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, RealEVRange and its operators disclaim all liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of this site or reliance on its data.
By accessing and using RealEVRange (realevrange.com), you agree to the following terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

6. Governing Law. These Terms are governed by the laws of France. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of France, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
Short version: We don't sell your data. We don't run ads. The only data we collect is what you voluntarily give us (contact form) and what's technically necessary to serve the website (server logs). We comply with the GDPR.

What we collect and why:
Name, email, message content. Used solely to reply to your inquiry. Not shared with third parties. Retained for 12 months then deleted.
IP address, browser type, pages visited. Retained for 30 days for security and abuse prevention. Not linked to personal identity.
City name you type is sent to OpenWeatherMap to fetch temperature. We don't log or store your city searches.
For the Used EV Audit paid report. Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card details.
Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6). Processing of contact form data is based on your consent (Art. 6.1.a) or our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries (Art. 6.1.f). Server logs are processed under legitimate interest for security purposes.
Your rights. Under GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data. You may also object to processing and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority (in France: CNIL).
International transfers. OpenWeatherMap and Stripe may process data outside the EU. Both provide adequate safeguards under GDPR (Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent). We do not knowingly transfer personal data to countries without adequate protection.
Minors. RealEVRange is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has submitted personal data to us, contact us for immediate deletion.

We do not use AI-generated data, manufacturer press materials as ground truth, or paid placements of any kind. If you spot a data error, please use our contact form — we verify and correct within 48 hours.
RealEVRange uses a minimal number of cookies and local storage items, all technical in nature.

Dispute resolution: If you have a billing dispute, please contact us at [email protected] before initiating a chargeback. We resolve billing issues promptly and chargebacks can be avoided in most cases.
Our content. The RealEVRange name, logo, physics engine methodology, calibration models, website design, and written content are the property of the site operator. All rights reserved.
Database. Our EV database — including the compiled vehicle specifications, computed range estimates, calibration factors, and transparency scores — represents a significant original work. Systematic reproduction or commercial use without authorization is prohibited and may constitute copyright infringement and/or misappropriation of database rights under EU Directive 96/9/EC.
Third-party data. Some data inputs are derived from public domain sources (EPA, NHTSA, WLTP filings). We claim no copyright over those underlying government datasets. Our copyright applies to the selection, arrangement, computation, and presentation of derived data.
Fair use / citation. You may cite individual data points with attribution to "RealEVRange (realevrange.com)" for non-commercial purposes (journalism, personal research, academic work). Please link back to the original page.
